Event Description:

Prince fans, rejoice! After a more than three-month hiatus, Paisley Park (located in Chanhassen MN, just 30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis) will be reopening Wednesday, July 1.

The Paisley Park Experience takes fans through the main floor of Paisley Park, including studios where Prince recorded, produced and mixed some of his biggest hits. Plus you'll get to check out the massive soundstage and concert hall where Prince rehearsed for tours and held exclusive, private events and concerts as well as NPG Music Club where Prince held countless late-night performances.

In accordance with Gov. Tim Walz's guidelines and to help ensure the safety of visitors and staff, Paisley Park has implemented health precautions including a “no touch” admission, reduced capacity, smaller tours and frequent cleanings.

Guests can take in the MN summer weather on the recently finished outdoor patio space, and grab tickets to one of four tours to get up close to iconic Paisley Park finds like Prince's cloud suit, handwritten lyrics and an elaborate trophy room. Tickets can be reserved online here and hours of operation are as follows:

  • Monday - Tuesday, Thursday - Sunday: 9 am - 5 pm
  • Wednesday: Closed for deep cleaning (in addition to daily cleanings)

Paisley Park’s executive director Alan Seiffert is excited to welcome visitors back to the museum:
We are thrilled to reopen our doors and invite guests back to Paisley Park in a safe manner. Prince's music and legacy have brought so many people--across the globe and diverse communities--together through the years. Now more than ever, it's essential that we continue his vision of love, freedom, connection and community, and once again welcome fans to experience his legacy within Paisley Park's walls.
