Uh Oh! Millennials Don't Really Like Today's Music

February 9, 2019

It's hard to be impressed with today's music, and the only blame is Millennials, right? According to a new study from New York University states, that Millennials don't even dig today's tunes. At least compared to the CLASSIC stuff from the '60s and '70s.

The study also said that Scientists tested a group of Millennials to see if they could recognize hit songs from different decades. There were 643 participants between the ages of 18 and 25, and they played them short clips from past #1 hits.

With their research they determined that Millennials could identify hit songs between 1960 to 1999, than they could of songs from today.

The lead researcher Dr Pascal Wallisch said, "The 1960s to 1990s was a special time in music, reflected by a steady recognition of pieces of that era, even by today's millennials."
