Fans can experience early rock ‘n’ roll favorites like “Pretty Woman” and “Peggy Sue” at the Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly: Rock ‘N’ Roll Dream Tour coming to the Mystic Showroom on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 8 p.m. Accompanied by a live band and backup singers, this holographic and remastered audio experience will transport fans back in time for an evening of Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly’s greatest hits onstage.

The production for this show was developed by BASE Hologram, which produces live events that utlize holographic cinema. BASE Hologram previously produced a record-breaking hologram tour featuring Orbison in 2018. In their lifetimes, Orbison and Holly were collaborators and friends, in addition to being two of the most influential musicians of the rock ‘n’ roll era.

The holographic performance will pull from their combined 16 platinum records, 19 gold records, nearly two dozen Top 40 hits and 10 combined GRAMMY awards, including Holly’s “That’ll Be the Day” and Orbison’s “In Dreams.”
