From the wilds of England comes Florence + The Machine’s dark video for “Never Let Me Go,” co-starring Jamie Campbell Bower. Bower is best known for his role as Caius, leader of the Volturi, in the final two Twilight: Breaking Dawn movies.

Director Tabitha Denholm, who also helmed the video for “Dog Days Are Over,” puts Florence Welch in the middle of an abandoned ice rink to explore another side of her water-themed album for this single. Visually Denholm takes inspiration from Scandinavian horror films, like Let The Right One In, and in a behind-the-scenes interview says, “There are a lot of dark themes to her writing. We were excited to visit the dark side a bit.”

Florence + The Machine will release an MTV Unplugged album on April 10th, including “Never Let Me Go” along with covers of Otis Redding’s “Try A Little Tenderness” and the Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash duet “Jackson” with Queens of the Stane Age singer Josh Homme. The release will be a deluxe CD/DVD following the airing of their MTV Unplugged in March.
