[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kid Rock[/lastfm] has reached the top of Billboard’s Rock Albums chart with his brand new release Born Free.

The rocker has been on the chart for the past three weeks and has finally reached number one after holding down the number two spot last week. Born Free has also charted on the Billboard 200, thus far peaking at number 13.

Just below Kid Rock on the Rock Albums chart is Bon Jovi’s Greatest Hits release, which has spent four weeks on the chart and recently moved up from the number three spot. Mumford & Sons have taken the number three position on the chart with their debut album Sign No More.

Born Free was released on October 29 and marks Kid Rock’s eighth studio album. It features collaborations with artists such as Mary J. Blige, Zac Brown, Sheryl Crow, Bob Seger, T.I., and Martina McBride.
