In preparation for [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bon Jovi[/lastfm]’s upcoming, sure-to-be-epic Live On Letterman webcast (November 9 at 8pm ET/5pm PT), we’ve rounded up a selection of duets that Jon has performed over the years with various artists. Some aren’t too big of a stretch ([lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bruce Springsteen[/lastfm]), while others are truly unique, including a version of the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Ben E. King[/lastfm] classic “Stand By Me” with Iranian singer [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Andy Madadian[/lastfm].

5)  [lastfm]Willie Nelson[/lastfm] feat [lastfm]Jon Bon Jovi[/lastfm] – “You Were Always on My Mind”

There are over 300 recorded releases of this song by a wide range of artists, though “Always on My Mind” is most closely associated with Willie Nelson, who won a Grammy for his recording of it in 1983. Both performers do an excellent job.

4)  [lastfm]Andy Madadian[/lastfm], [lastfm]Jon Bon Jovi[/lastfm], [lastfm]Richie Sambora[/lastfm] & Friends  – “Stand by Me”

Jon Bon Jovi and bandmate Richie Sambora recorded a new version of “Stand By Me” with Iranian singer Andy Madadian, under the direction of producer [lastfm]Don Was[/lastfm]. The recording is meant to support the independence of the Iranian people.

3)  Jon Bon Jovi and [lastfm]Bruce Springsteen[/lastfm] – “It’s My Life”

The song is a karaoke favorite thanks to lines like: “It’s my life/It’s now or never /I ain’t gonna live forever /I just want to live while I’m alive.” Mix the energy of Bon Jovi with that of fellow Jerseyite Springsteen, and you might just implode with emotion.

2) Jon Bon Jovi and [lastfm]Jennifer Nettles[/lastfm] of [lastfm]Sugarland[/lastfm] – “Who Says You Can’t Go Home”

Bon Jovi’s band became the first rock group to top the country singles chart, with a little help from duet partner Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland.

1)  Jon Bon Jovi and Pavarotti – “Let it Rain”

A video featuring Bon Jovi rocking the stage with Italian tenor [lastfm]Luciano Pavarotti[/lastfm]? We were in disbelief, too! Watch now and feel the magic.

Watch Bon Jovi perform a Live on Letterman concert webcast, direct from the stage of the Ed Sullivan Theater, on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 8pm Eastern (5pm Pacific).
