michaeljackson 1012094 New Michael Jackson Songs Slated For The FallIt’s quite likely that the King of Pop will reign the charts from beyond the grave this fall.

A little more than a year after [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm]‘s unexpected passing last June, Rolling Stone has reported that a rep from the late star’s estate confirmed an upcoming album that will hit stores in November. The new collection will include 10 unreleased tracks.

In a recent interview in Rolling Stone, Jackson’s manager,[lastfm]Frank DiLeo[/lastfm], claimed that there were “a couple of songs we recorded for the Badalbum that we had to cut that are just sensational.”

It is expected that these tracks will be featured on the upcoming album, which will be only the first in a 10-project, seven-year deal that the Jackson estate signed with Sony earlier this year. The deal includes reissues, greatest hits collections and and a DVD release, among other projects.

Last year, former Sony bigwig [lastfm]Tommy Mottola[/lastfm] rold Rolling Stone that, “Every time that [Jackson] recorded, he over-recorded. He would record anywhere from 20 to 30 songs for each album.”
