bandbonjovi 1016092 Bon Jovi Rock Inaugural Show For Meadowlands Stadium[lastfm]Bon Jovi [/lastfm]played the inaugural show for the new $1.6 billion Meadowlands stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Wednesday night to a crowd of 55,000.

The group played such classic hits as “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “Blood on Blood,” “Runaway,” and “Bad Medicine,” along with new songs from their latest album, The Circle, including “We Weren’t Born to Follow” and “When We Were Beautiful.” Frontman [lastfm]Jon Bon Jovi[/lastfm], expressed his admiration for the new stadium, noting during a pause in the show, “I like, I like, I like.”

The band is currently on tour to promote The Circle its 11th studio album.
