Noel Gallagher Could Use Choir On Solo Album
Noel Gallagher is reportedly mulling a collaboration with a choir for his upcoming solo album. The former Oasis guitarist is looking to work with the Crouch End Festival Chorus, which he saw perform at London’s Royal Albert Hall last month.
“I was speaking to Noel’s manager about this and I was saying to him, ‘We’ll get the very best out of the choir if we get any recording. It’d be in a studio, we’d love it.’” said David Temple, the choir’s conductor, according to published reports.
Oasis split up last summer after Noel declared he could no longer work with his brother, lead singer Liam. Liam is currently working with former Oasis band members to produce new material, though he says it won’t be released under the Oasis name.
Meanwhile, Noel is expecting another child later this year. According to reports, which cite friends of the couple, Gallagher’s girlfriend, Sara MacDonald, underwent a three-month doctor’s visit a few weeks ago for what will be Gallagher’s third child, and the couple’s second.
