The new report comes at a pivotal time in the case, as Dr. Murray’s lawyers have come forward with accusations that the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office is taking too long to turn over important case documents.

A spokesperson for Murray’s lead attorney, Ed Chernoff, told TMZ last week, “We remain confused by how suspiciously slow the D.A. has been in turning over the documents,” adding that they “have not received anywhere near all of it.”

The rep for the D.A.’s Office responded to the claims, also telling TMZ that they are “turning them over as soon as they are copied and cataloged. There is a huge number of documents and the process takes time.”
